STARGAZING Eau de Toilette

The tea had gone cold. She hadn't noticed. 

Beneath the tree, the angel had fallen asleep. Her black dress pooled against the grass like spilled ink, and the leaves above painted her in dappled light. Shifting, flickering, a constellation mapped across her skin. Citrus and ivy tangled in the air around her, bright and green. Jasmine bloomed close, sweet and heady, the way summer always smells.

He didn't wake her.

Green tea lingered in the stillness, soft and quietly bitter. Gardenia exhaled beside it, creamy and full, the kind of white flower that bruises when you hold it too strong. And musk...warm and endless, the note that stays.

He watched the light move across her face. The way her breath came slow and easy. In his eyes, she was the universe. The whole of it. Every star, every shadow, every impossible thing he'd ever wanted to believe in.
